A little piece of Gilded Age elegance, with a story still worth keeping. This beautiful antique Haviland & Co. Limoges covered vegetable dish recalls that world of gracious entertaining.

Decorated in the discontinued Schleiger 63 pattern, it features delicate pink blossoms suspended in graceful floral garlands, pale green ornamental scrollwork, and wonderfully sculptural double-loop handles. Its domed lid is crowned with an ornate gold-accented handle, while the scalloped edges are finished with distinctive, intentionally feathered gold decoration.

The original gilding is beautifully preserved. Its soft, painterly appearance is part of the original design, not wear.

Both the bowl and its matching lid are included—a lovely opportunity to own a complete antique French porcelain serving piece.

Today, it would make a romantic addition to a china cabinet, a decorative centerpiece, or a collection of antique Limoges. Its charming imperfections are part of its long history, and it is best appreciated as a decorative antique rather than everyday serving ware.
