Vintage ceramic scarecrow luminary, a popular piece from the 1970s to the 1980s, either sold painted or as DIY bisque molds.

This beautifully hand-painted figure features a smiling scarecrow in a vest, red scarf, and a green, witch-hat-style brim, standing on a pile of three jack-o'-lantern pumpkins. A charming little squirrel holding an acorn is nestled on the base, along with stalks of corn.

The figurine is designed to be a light-up luminary. The hat is open at the top, and two of the front pumpkins have cut-out faces. The open bottom allows you to place a small light inside (a battery-operated tea light is highly recommended, for safety and ease of use, not included). The light will cast a cozy, spooky glow through the pumpkin faces and the small triangular cutouts around the brim of the scarecrow's hat.

This is a unique piece for your mantle, shelf, entryway table, or as a centerpiece for your Halloween or Thanksgiving display.
