The white knit sweater is the star, with pink gingham quilted shoulder panels edged in tiny white trim and an embroidered and appliquéd kitten and tulips across the front. The little kitty cat wears a pink gingham outfit and dimensional yellow hair bow, and is holding a swirly lollipop. Pink and aqua stripes trim the neckline, cuffs and hem. Back button closure.
The matching pants are made from quilted pink and white gingham with an elastic waist and coordinating knit ankle cuffs striped in pink and aqua. Together, the pieces have an unmistakably sweet vintage nursery look that's becoming increasingly difficult to find as a complete matching set.

Condition: Very good vintage condition overall with one important age-related flaw: The elastic in the pants waistband has lost its stretch and will need to be replaced if the outfit is intended to be worn.
