This vintage enamel pendant features the colorful ship's crest of the USS Nicholas (FFG-47), an Oliver Hazard Perry-class guided-missile frigate commissioned in 1984, remaining in U.S. Navy service until 2014.
The oval gold-tone pendant is finished in red, white, black and gold enamel and bears the ship's motto, “Carrying On a Proud Tradition.” A great piece of naval memorabilia for a former crew member, Navy family, military collector, or USS Nicholas enthusiast.
