This substantial vintage rocks glass has the kind of satisfying weight and organic form that signals quality the moment you pick it up.

The rounded barrel silhouette tapers gently from a thick, heavily weighted base to a slightly wider rim, a clean, modernist form with no ornamentation, letting the glass itself do all the work. Fully clear with excellent clarity throughout.

Pairs beautifully with the olive amber version of this same form also listed in my shop. The two make a striking mixed set on a bar cart.

Details:
• Maker: Unknown — no maker's mark
• Style: Heavy-base clear crystal rocks glass, MCM form
• Era: Mid-century, likely 1950s–1960s
• Height: 3"
• Diameter: 3.25"
• Capacity: ~8–10 oz (whiskey / rocks size)
• Base: Heavily weighted — substantial in hand
• Condition: Excellent vintage — no chips, cracks, or cloudiness. Minor surface scratches consistent with age.
• Quantity: Single glass

The heavy base and precise proportions are consistent with mid-century European crystal production. The form is strongly reminiscent of Moser and other quality Bohemian or Scandinavian glassmakers of the 1950s–1960s, though this example carries no maker's mark. It could equally be an unlabeled piece from a quality Czech, Austrian, or Italian workshop, the kind of anonymous gem that rewards a careful eye and a good hand feel.
